Super App: An Enterprise Mobile App with Multi-Role Architecture

Super App: An Enterprise Mobile App with Multi-Role Architecture

How can you bring customers, service providers, and administrators together in one app, each working with their own workflow? In a corporate environment, requirements for data security and integration with the company’s existing systems come on top of that. Read on to learn how Super App handles these tasks.

What is Super App?

Super App is a mobile app with a complex architecture. It brings multiple user roles, each with their own workflows, together in one product and integrates with corporate infrastructure. This format suits companies at the stage of scaling and growth, as well as those that need to support different user groups within a single solution.

At the core of Super App is one Flutter project with role-based navigation. A customer and a service provider can use the same app, but each gets their own interface and capabilities. Separate apps for each group aren’t needed, and the backend logic and database are shared across all roles. Separate authentication and onboarding processes are set up for each user type.

The app is managed through a centralized admin panel with access to users, content, and analytics. Data updates in real time, and notifications are configured based on the user’s role and actions. For example, in a service with a customer, a service provider, and a coordinator, a status change made by the service provider is instantly visible to both the customer and the coordinator, each in their own interface.

Super App configurations

Multi-role Platform

A mobile app built for three or more distinct user types, each with their own dedicated workflow and interface. For example, a private clinic platform: patients get a personal portal and online booking, doctors manage their schedules and patient records, and administrators handle appointments and staff availability.

Best for: marketplaces, on-demand platforms, B2B services connecting suppliers and buyers, and service companies with a client-provider-coordinator setup.

Enterprise Mobile App

A corporate app designed for internal teams ranging from 50 to 5,000+ employees. Features Single Sign-On (SSO), centralized Mobile Device Management (MDM), offline mode, data encryption, and audit logs for internal control. For example, a mobile solution for field engineers who often work in areas with unstable internet connectivity: a technician logs completed work and generates a service report on-site while offline, and the data automatically syncs with corporate systems once a connection is restored.

Best for: companies with distributed teams, enterprises with strict security requirements, and organizations subject to regulatory compliance for data storage and transmission.

App + Backend + Admin

A complete system incorporating a mobile app, backend, and web admin panel within a single project: a Flutter app for iOS and Android, a REST API backend, and a web panel for the internal team. For example, a solution for a manufacturer’s dealer network featuring a product catalog, order management, documents, and notifications, paired with an admin panel to manage content, partner access, and sales analytics.

Best for: startups in active growth and scaling phases, as well as companies that need a mobile client, backend, and team operational interface bundled into a single project.

App Rewrite / Upgrade

A step-by-step migration from a legacy app to Flutter without downtime or loss of user data. The process begins with a technical audit to determine which features can be preserved and which need an upgrade. Key business modules and high-traffic screens are migrated first. New features and screens are rolled out gradually: first to a segment of users, and then to everyone once stability is confirmed.

Best for: companies whose app suffers from poor performance, struggles under load, or has become too costly to maintain; products that need a modern architecture to support new features.

Super App development follows a Phased Delivery approach: we break the project into phases, each with a documented scope, fixed pricing, and a functional product release upon completion. Decisions on next steps are made based on feedback and results from the previous phase. This maintains a balance between flexibility and control, allowing the product roadmap to adapt to evolving business priorities.
