Spiro 2.15 – Release Overview
Spiro 2.15 release is aimed at simplifying data collection and managing marketing activities for effective customer interaction. We've added new functionality for creating and monitoring events in the system, as well as a module for launching and customizing campaigns based on specific triggers. Below, we will share more details about the new features of our low-code platform.
Event types
This version of Spiro introduces the ability to create and track event types, which greatly expands the capabilities of data collection and analysis. Now you can create different types of events in the system to detect important actions and add the necessary properties to them without involving a developer, but directly from the control panel.
For example, let's look at the “New Visitor” event with two properties: User Agent (the browser the user came from) and the visitor's country by IP. After creating this event, operators can use the API to register it from a mobile app, website, or other platform.
Thus, you can now record specific marketing parameters for each new visitor's login, which simplifies the analysis of the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and user behavior.
Campaign builder
This functionality allows you to create, launch, edit, copy, pause, or stop campaigns. You can filter the selection of users you'll send messages to by events in the system. To create campaigns, you use message templates that contain variables, which allows you to personalize communication with each recipient.
The campaign builder supports the deduplication rule, which means that campaigns aren't sent to users who have received another message within a certain period of time. In addition, mailings are sent only to the audience segment that falls under a specific selection of events that have or have not occurred for a particular user.
Let's take an example of how to set up an automated campaign:
You need to set up a mailing list for users who have registered on the site within the last two days. In the Campaigns settings section, click “+” to create a new one. Next, you need to select:
-
Time and days to send the campaign automatically (every Wednesday and Friday at 10:00)
-
Audience segments that will receive the message (new users who have registered within the last two days)
-
An event from the list (“Registration on the site”) for an additional selection of users
-
User language (Ukrainian or English) according to their IP or website version
-
Template of the message to be sent
This way, you can set up a campaign that will send messages to selected users according to a specified schedule, taking into account the “Site registration” event that occurred within the last two days.
After sending, you can check the statistics for each campaign session in the system: graphs and information about the sending, recipient, and message status.
Therefore, the new functionality allows you to create campaigns that are triggered at a specified time, select relevant user groups, and send them messages according to certain rules. With this, you can optimize your marketing campaigns, effectively reach your target audience, and increase conversions.
Event triggers
Event triggers are a new feature of Spiro 2.15 that allows you to select actions that will be automatically performed by the system when certain events occur for any of the users. How does it work? For example, if a “New Visitor” event is detected in the system, Spiro will automatically send a communication or a request to the user. This allows you to flexibly configure triggers to perform actions at the moment the event is detected, with a delay in minutes or at a fixed time.
This functionality automates the execution of necessary actions and allows you to reach a large audience without manual intervention. Flexible setting of triggers at the time of the event or with a delay ensures timely and personalized communication with users.
All the changes implemented add flexibility to the system and contribute to the effective management of marketing campaigns. They cover both convenient data collection and event recording, as well as the ability to easily customize and personalize campaigns.
