Spiro 2.20 Release Overview

Spiro 2.20 – Release Overview

Spiro 2.20 includes over 50 significant changes, implemented based on feedback from our clients and aimed at enhancing the user experience. Conditional formatting in tables, a new process for configuring communication channels, and expanded mailing functionality – these and more are covered in the article below.

Conditional formatting for tables

In Spiro 2.20, we introduced the conditional formatting feature, which significantly improves the experience of working with large datasets in tables. Now, you can choose different styles for specific values in a table based on predefined conditions.  This feature can be applied to all properties, dates, or lookup tables, allowing for highly flexible table display customization. By changing text and background colors, you can easily highlight key data or instantly identify records that match specific criteria.

In Spiro, conditional formatting can be applied in just a few easy steps. First, go to the "Entity Settings" section on the main page, select "Users" and then "Properties". Create a new property and fill in the basic parameters: code, name, data type, and the list of groups containing this property. Then, in the "Formatting" section, set the conditions (e.g., values greater than or less than 15,000) and choose colors for the text and background. Return to the table, select the newly created property in the display settings, and apply the changes.

Conditional formatting is a flexible tool that allows you to easily customize the display of tables based on specific parameters. With this feature, you can intuitively highlight important information among thousands of records and quickly identify key metrics.

New contact editing interface

The new contact editing functionality in Spiro 2.20 significantly simplifies and speeds up work within the system. Adding and editing contacts now takes place directly in the table – you can perform all actions in one convenient block without switching to other pages.

We have reduced the number of fields and streamlined the steps required to make changes in user profiles. Due to this optimization, managing large volumes of data has become even more convenient.

Language property

The new Spiro release introduces the option to add a language property to the "Users" entity. Now, you can connect a lookup table for languages and configure the corresponding settings. This allows you to create mailings in multiple languages – the system will automatically select the one specified for each user.

Spiro 2.20 introduces a range of updates that enhance the platform's functionality. Here are a few highlights:
