• The toolbar is now positioned at the bottom of the screen to maximize the workspace

• The Actions menu provides quick access to AI tools, plugins, and widgets

• The Properties panel has been updated with better function grouping and the ability to resize the panel.

• Suggest Auto Layout helps in easily creating adaptive designs.

• The Assets panel now includes editable sets of UI elements for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and Google Material Design 3, supporting both dark and light themes

• Make Designs: Generate responsive website and mobile app layouts from text prompts with customization options

• Visual Search and Asset Search: Use images and designs to find similar elements and files within your Figma projects

• Rename Layers: Organize layers in your file and add meaningful names with a single click

• Make Prototypes: Automatically generate links between screens and quickly turn layouts into interactive prototypes

• Text Content: Create, edit, shorten, and translate text in your designs to fit various languages

• Generate Images and Remove Backgrounds: Generate unique images from text prompts and remove backgrounds to isolate key elements

Dev Mode

• Status Updates: This feature allows your team to receive notifications about changes and stay informed when a feature is ready for development. It makes the design handoff between designers and developers clearer and more organized

• Ready for Dev View: This mode helps developers quickly find all design elements that are ready for implementation. It simplifies navigation and speeds up the search for necessary elements

• Focus View: The new release introduces the ability to hide all other designs on the canvas, leaving only the one you're inspecting

• Code Connect: Integrate component code from libraries directly within Dev Mode. Now, when viewing components with connected code snippets, you can see the actual code instead of auto-generated code

Figma Slides

With Figma Slides, you can create effective presentations for various audience segments using flexible templates:

• Real-time collaboration and shared speaker notes

• Interactive slides with polls, voting, and alignment scales

• Customizing slide designs using Figma Design tools

• Ability to gather feedback from the team
