Spiro 2.18-2.19 – Release Overview

In the latest releases of the Spiro low-code platform, we focused on enhancing user experience and system efficiency. Flexible table content customization, an updated entity screen layout, and streamlined data interaction are just some of the improvements we’ll cover next.

Entity view optimization

In the new release of the Spiro platform, we’ve optimized entity viewing for a more convenient and efficient data management experience. Users can now personalize the interface of each entity and tailor it to their specific needs and project requirements.

The new feature allows users to flexibly configure the display of blocks on the entity screen and choose which fields to show or hide during viewing.

For example, if blocks such as comments, communication history, notes, or technical details are not crucial for a specific project, they can be turned off. This option allows you to focus on the most important attributes of the entity and reduce visual overload when working with data.

Data display in tables

Easy data organization and content accessibility in tables are critical factors that affect information processing efficiency. When configuring tables, it's also important to consider project specifics, various usage scenarios, and data volumes, ensuring they are displayed conveniently across different screens and devices.

We took into account feedback from clients who work with various amounts of data – ranging from hundreds to tens of thousands of records – and optimized data display in tables. Additionally, since specialists of various ages and visual abilities use Spiro, we made sure the interface is inclusive and the system settings are highly customizable.

In these releases of our low-code platform, we’ve added the “Default Column Width” option. Now, you can choose between three column display modes: fixed width, auto-sizing to fit content, or adjusting to screen width.

Moreover, operators can save table settings as default presets, which are automatically applied for new users upon their first login. This ensures consistent data display and simplifies table management across the company or project.

Adding system sections to “Favorites”

Easy access to frequently used system sections greatly simplifies navigation and speeds up your search for necessary information. You can quickly add a section to your Favorites from both the main menu and the section page. Just hover over the desired menu item or click the relevant option on the section page. The updated functionality helps you efficiently organize your workspace and keep essential data close at hand.
