Spiro 2.17 - Release Overview

Spiro 2.17 - Release Overview

We've recently made a new release of our low-code platform Spiro. A convenient and informative user manual, an adaptive version of the system, out-of-the-box integration with Apple ID, and new sales conditions setup process are the main changes in version 2.17. Read on to learn more about the new features of Spiro.

User manual

User manual in release 2.17 features a clean, bright, and user-friendly interface that matches the new Spiro design. The documentation is now even more convenient to work with as it has become more informative and structured.

For convenience, the manual is now divided into logical sections: Documents and files, Communication, Users, Content, Objects, Interactions, Operators, Constructor, and others. The main principle here is to solve practical issues instead of giving theoretical explanations.

We've created separate sections describing specific cases and tasks that users of the system might face. We've added a large number of screenshots to all sections to support and explain the text of the manual, making the information even clearer and more accessible. You can also use the Spiro documentation as the main knowledge base for your project, adding information about your company's internal business processes if needed.

Adaptive layout

In release 2.17, we've significantly improved the adaptive version of the system, making Spiro's functionality available on all types of devices. The system's interface automatically adjusts to different screen sizes, providing convenient access to all functions without having to use only the desktop.

This task was a complex one because we had to display large amounts of information on the screen and implement forms for interacting with it. In addition, it was necessary to take into account that each Spiro-based project has a different set of information.

The adaptive design enables users to access Spiro from any device at any time, offering maximum flexibility and mobility. This feature is especially valuable for those who frequently work remotely or prefer using mobile devices.

Sign in / Sign out via Apple ID

With Spiro 2.17, we've introduced a new Apple ID out-of-the-box authentication option. This means that now you can quickly configure Apple ID as one of your SSO options for iOS mobile apps and websites. The new feature simplifies the authorization process for Apple users and provides fast and secure access to your apps.

New sales conditions setup process

In version 2.17, we've greatly improved the process of editing product sales conditions. Sales conditions are the parameters of products in the system that define the rules of interaction with them. For example, the product price or discount can differ depending on the number of items, user class, batch, or other factors. Since there can be a lot of such parameters, a user-friendly interface for working with them is essential.

With the new functionality, you can quickly copy sales conditions, conveniently edit and save them without switching between different pages of Spiro. This simplifies the management of sales conditions, reduces the number of steps, and saves time spent on adding and editing parameters.
